DENTAL IMPLANTS

Dental Implants are tooth root substitutes that are surgically placed in the jawbone and act as anchors to stabilize artificial teeth.

FACIAL COSMETIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY

Cosmetic maxillofacial surgery can repair physical malformations resulting from disease, injury, birth defects or aging--and may also serve to restore normal function and improve individual appearance.

REMOVAL OF DISEASED AND IMPACTED TEETH

A tooth that fails to emerge or fully break through the gum tissue is termed "impacted." Often this happens to third molars, as they are the last teeth to develop and appear in the mouth.

FACIAL TRAUMA

Facial injuries are treated by repairing routine and complex facial skin lacerations (cuts), setting fractured facial bones, reconnecting severed nerves and ducts, and treating other injuries.

SNORING AND SLEEP APNEA

Obstructive sleep apnea can lead to excessive daytime sleepiness, poor work performance and cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension, arrythmias and congestive heart failure.

CORRECTION OF DENTOFACIAL (BITE) DEFORMITES AND BIRTH DEFECTS

Surgical correction of jaw irregularities (orthagnathic surgery)is undertaken after thorough study and consultation with an orthodontist and restorative dentist.

PATHOLOGIC CONDITIONS

Any suspicious lesion or growth on the face, neck or in the mouth should be checked without delay.

ANESTHESIA

During surgery, one or more of the following can be used in controlling pain and anxiety: local anesthesia, nitrous oxide-oxygen; intravenous sedation and deep sedation/general anesthesia.
